Rare Tele, built by Jay Montrose (former guitar tech of Danny Gatton).
This is one of 10 guitars Jay produced for the Japanese market. For this export model, he had the body and neck made externally.
Jay Montrose used Danny Gatton’s original 1953 Telecaster as a model for his creations. The result is a very good sounding, lightweight and extremely resonant Tele.
Including hard shell case.
