Finally, Eric Clapton’s “wonder weapon” in the form of a Gibson Les Paul Standard 1959, which he used in a very impressive way between 1967 and 1968 during the recording of the legendary album “John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers with Eric Clapton”, may finally be reproduced by Gibson. Unfortunately only in very limited quantities. Two instruments aged by Tom Murphy will find their way to Switzerland. One will be signed by the master guitarist himself, the other will not.
