Patrick Geser, has been with GT since 1997, played in his brothers’ band since he was 8 years old; loves snowboarding as much as enjoying the beach; has survived the music of the 80s almost unscathed and since then can hardly part with good guitars; but always overcomes himself to sell even his best pieces to real enthusiasts like you. Patrick is the owner and manager of Gitarren Total and responsible for sales and consulting, purchasing, internet and advertising.

Elio Monn, our example salesman, pedal expert, certified trainer for apprentices and retail specialist with higher diploma. Thanks to his years of professional experience and his great know-how, Elio is at your disposal for all questions about guitars, amps, repairs and – of course – effects pedals.

He is also busy outside of GT: With his two bands he is actively producing and giving concerts. Recently he has also been making a name for himself as a solo artist “Elio Monn and the Hydrophobics”. His new Surf Rock album is fantastic!

Duncan James has been bringing the British style to our store since 2000. He has a bachelors degree in philosophy and has been an active guitarist since 1981. Duncan loves books, single malt scotch and is a biker with the part of his body and soul not reserved for guitars. At GT, he is the workshop-boss responsible for repairs, modifications, paint jobs, refretting and more.

Yonca Özen has successfully completed her apprenticeship as a retail professional with us in 2018. We are glad that she has decided to continue working with us, because she has quickly become a popular and eloquent saleswoman. She also shows as being any in the workshop (her self-made ES-style guitar sounds incredibly good). In her free time she likes to sing a lot. She accompanies herself on her J-45 or on the piano. She also enjoys cycling through Zurich, playing volleyball or enjoying the winter on her snowboard.

Cyrus Belmonte started his apprenticeship as a retail professional for musical instruments with us in August. With his friendly, grounded and affectionate manner, he has quickly become a popular employee. Musically, Cyrus lives for neo-soul and plays the most groovy riffs on his Stratocaster. As a producer, he creates beats, songs and jingles for various musicians and projects.

Nicola Frecci already made a name for himself with his great sounding effect pedals “Frecci Instruments“. Especially his Klon style pedal called “Kirone” you have to try at your next visit.
Nicola is responsible at Gitarren Total for repairs on tube amps, effect pedals and everything that runs on electricity.

Thomas Fessler, the man of the first hour, co-founded GT in 1988; meanwhile runs the “571 Recording Studios” one of the most successful recording studios in Switzerland; is for Sina, Plüsch, Florian Ast, Adrian Stern, Lockstoff and many others constantly looking for the perfect song; For GT he is and remains the supervisor with the guitarist gene – and the tight time budget.
