Epiphone inspired by Gibson Les Paul Standard Kirk Hammett “Greeny”.
“Greeny” is probably one of the most storied electric guitars ever. The original, built in 1959, was used by Peter Green during his time with Fleetwood Mac. The next owner was none other than Gary Moore. He used Greeny for more than three decades with Thin Lizzy and as a solo artist. The next chapter in Greeny’s life is in the hands of Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett.
The latter currently plays the guitar in the studio and on stage all over the world.
As a special highlight Greeny features the inverted neck pickup with reversed polarity. In the middle position it has a unique out-of-phase sound which is difficult to copy…
