The Gibson J-45 is considered the undisputed queen of Gibson acoustics. Whether Bob Dylon, Elvis, Springsteen, Buddy Holly or Woody Guthrie. All of these great artists have at one time or another worked intensively with this guitar and immortalized it on countless recordings. This vintage original J-45 from 1953 is simply stunning! After such a long time, there are naturally some traces in the lacquer, including larger lacquer-free areas. We are lucky that this almost 60-year-old guitar is still playable at all. However, the sound and mojo of all these years are so impressive that it is hard to resist playing this instrument. The J-45 comes from the “golden years” of the Gibson era.
