The Flying-V was ahead of its time when it was launched in 1958. Only 81 guitars have been sold that year. Today, the Flying-V is an iconic electric guitar thanks to performances by Dave Davies, Billy Gibbons or Keith Richards.
Now it is finally available again: The Flying-V in 1958 styling with the body made of beautifully grained and extremely light Koa. The mahogany neck features an authentic ’58 profile. It features “Custombucker” pickups which are made to resemble a 1958 PAF pickup.
The combination of the light Korina body, the chunky 58 neck profile and airy-sounding pickups ensures a uniquely rich, resonant tone with strongly pronounced mids. The crisp attack is accompanied by beautiful sustain.
