The signature model of americana musician Nathaniel Rateliff is based on a mix of his favorite vintage guitars: the body, scale and construction come from his LG-2, the fretboard inlays and the “crown” symbol on the headstock from his Country Western. The combination of mahogany back and sides and the Sitka spruce top provides authentic vintage tone. Thanks to the scalloped X-bracing, the LG-2 Western delivers decent volume despite the small body.
