When the SG was launched in 1961 under the name Les Paul, the new design caused a lot of commotion in the guitar scene. The SG Standard ’61 remains true to the design features of yesteryear. With small pickguard, ABR bridge and alluminium tailpiece as well as PAF voiced pickups.
