The Starfire Bass made its debut in 1967, back then with a single neck pickup. Bassists like Jack Casady (Jeferson Airplane) or Phil Lesh (Grateful Dead) quickly took a liking to this model. The warm, round and slightly compressed sound of the Starfire Bass is perfect for hammering out groovy bass runs!
Here we have the modern resurrection of the Starfire Bass with an additional bridge pickup for more tonal variety, bone top saddle and authentic wooden tailpieces.
