Ibanez SRC6MS Black Stained Burst Low Gloss
The Bass VI was a particularly interesting invention by Leo Fender. The problem: Guitarists have such small hands, which make it impossible to play the wide neck of the Precision Bass. The solution: A “Jaguar” with an extremely long 30 inch scale length, six wound strings and tuned an octave lower.
The Bass VI did not succeed in replacing the Precision Bass, but it did find its way into recording studios as a “secret weapon” for exceptional bass sounds. The Bass VI has its totally own sound qualities: The sound is very midrange, dry with fast attack and little sustain. This twangy and percussive tone is as unique as the look of this instrument.
Here we have an Occasion copy of this rare instrument in very well maintained condition, including original case and case candy.
