WFL William F. Ludwig School Festival Concert Snare 1950’s

Rare vintage snare from the short period in the 50s when William F. Ludwig bought back his company and the drums were still called WFL before they were called “Ludwig” again in the late 50s.

This 14″ x 6.5″ snare is in good condition, the shell is evenly round. A small piece of Red Sparkle foil can be seen inside the drum, which gives us reason to believe that the Blue Sparkle is a re-wrap.
