The popular Academy series has got a new member! The affordable Mexican-made Academy 22e features a solid walnut top and walnut veneer back and sides. This North American sourced wood has sound characteristics comparable to the exotic Hawaiian Koa. The sound has distinct bass and brilliant highs. This sound, which can almost be interpreted as “mid scooped”, feels crystal clear and light as a feather. The Academy 22e Walnut is particularly enjoyable for soft fingerstyle playing.
